| First Step: Contact me via email or via the Prices & Options page to verify what I have in stock, price, and delivery time. | |
| Deposit:
For a Tennessee Music Box simply send the full amount plus tax (if you live in California)
and shipping cost. I'll send it to you in the time frame we agreed upon in step #1. For a custom hand made dulcimer I require a 50% deposit. This will reserve you a spot in my build schedule and will finalize the price. Even if my prices increase after you sent your deposit, the price that you and I agreed upon for your dulcimer will not change. |
|
| The Next Step: I'll build your dulcimer. When the woodworking portion is complete and the dulcimer is ready for final sanding, finishing, and final setup I'll contact you to let you know that your instrument is almost done. (Althought this will generally happen in the time frame we agreed upon in step #1). At that time I will require the balance of the cost of the dulcimer, case, tax, and shipping. | |
| Delivery: Once the final payment is received I send you your dulcimer. It's that easy! | |
| Guarantee:
You're instrument is guaranteed against defects in workmanship for the life of the instrument. Scratches, dents, and other damage which is the result of normal use or of abuse is not covered. Fret wear is considered to be normal wear and is not covered. To keep your instrument in the best possible condition for the longest time I suggest keeping your instrument in it's case when you're not playing it. The finish does not require heavy or consistent waxing. Occasional dusting is often all that's required. If you want to wax your instrument then use a high quality paste wax (no silicon!) or use a high quality guitar wax. Tennessee Music Boxes do not come with a case. They are intended to be an inexpensive fun, easy to play instrument that can be exposed to harsher conditions. If they break then the cost of a new instrument will probably be cheaper than the repair. They're great for taking to the beach, hiking and camping, or to give to children as their first instrument. Because this type of use is considered normal there is no guarantee on the Tennessee Music Boxes. |
